Just a Quick Note on Anna

We are praising the Lord today as we have all normal test results!!! Anna's jaundice has cleared up and her liver enzymes are on there way down! The doctor is having her take another week off of her cancer meds as her blood counts are all normal and we are still waiting for the next drug. He is placing another prescription order for it to see if they will go ahead with it this time. Please pray that the insurance company will not get in the way this time.

Anna's pain level is down significantly though not completely gone. We hope to see improvement in this area the longer she is off of the Gleevec/Tasigna. She is still not feeling well, but that is to be expected. It is our hope that this too will improve in the next week. We will be seen again next week to keep an eye on her white blood cell count to make sure it stays down. Thank you all for your prayers!

    1. The tulips are just pretty pics that the girls, (actually Naomi) had taken and I just thought they were pretty. I like to use some of our pics that are peaceful pictures without always using pictures of people. :-)

  7. Praise the Lord for Anna's white blood cell count being normal and the jaundice being cleared up too. Keeping her in prayer that it stays that way and that her pain will be gone soon. Insurance companies can be really great... but sometimes another "thorn in the flesh" I know... praying about that too. Love you all. Hugs, Grace

  13. You are on my prayers too, and I've mentioned Anna to my church and to others to pray. Keep her out of the wet basement and the laundry room, and stay off sugar. I hope to see you soon. Love grandpa Larry.

  18. Craig, Emily and Anna,
Our family has been praying for you. Craig and Emily we came by your home around Christmas time just to drop off something. You had company over but invited all of in. (yes you have a wonderful table- but I want to share with you something I noticed about Anna) She and I talked. She was telling me about the pain she was experiencing in her bones. She also shared a doctor visit. I can't remember all the details but I believe at the doctor's office there was a mother and her daughter who were also facing cancer. With Anna's experience, she knows first hand how difficult this is. Anna shared how her heart was broken as she found out that they were facing it alone. They did not have the love and support of family, church and friends to help support them through these difficult times. Tears flowed. She has such a tender heart to care for someone else when she herself was hurting. That is the love of Jesus shining through her. What a blessing she is! Rich Tanaka (for the Tanaka Family)
