The Day Has Arrived!

Well, today is the day! I write this as it is now past midnight, so technically it is Tuesday, March 19. Sleep has yet to take me up in the bliss of total unconsciousness as I have been packing and thinking upon the happenings of this week yet to come. The stress of leaving behind most of my children is nagging at me while the blessing of knowing they will all be well taken care of eases the burden just a bit. We have the blessing of an apartment through the Ronald McDonald Housing starting tomorrow. This really is a help although we are still praying for a miracle in finding a place for all of us. My mind is already feeling full as we prepare to head on over for the many scans, tests, and classes. I pray that I will be able to retain something. Add pregnancy brain on top of that, and I'm glad I have my hubby there to help me out! God is good. We are trusting Him to get us through this day, week, month, season. We are thankful for all of the blessings along the way, both big and small. This is the day which the Lord hath made, we will rejoice and be glad in it....

  1. And this part of the journey begins. We will be praying daily for Christ to wrap his peace and love around all of you. I am praying the Lord will give you all the knowledge you need for each day to love and care for our dear Anna. Anna I already miss you but know that you are taking a piece of my heart with you to Seattle. You are often in my thoughts and prayers and I am so thankful for our friendship. As you all face each new day continue to rest in the fresh mercies that God provides. Daniel I am also praying for you to lean mightily upon God as he has given you a special job for such a time as this.

  2. Praise the Lord! I am so glad to hear you have an apartment through Ronald McDonald House. My mother was able to utilize them as well when my younger sister was hospitalized for long periods. It was a blessing. Congratulations on your newest little one, by the way!! Being a friend from afar, I just saw your baby ticker. :) Thank you for the updates!!

  3. I will be praying.

    I won't forget.

    You are NOT ALONE.

    Rest in that.

Darkness is as light to Him. There can be no darkness where He is, and this is very comforting to me.

Just take the next breath, the next step.

  4. I hope you were able to get some sleep...wonderful to hear that you have a place to hang for awhile. I have called our friends who live in the nearby neighborhood, but haven't received a call back. Will keep trying. Praying for you and lifting your needs up to the Lord...He is good and will provide. Clarity, wisdom, strength, peace and much more.
    Love, Julia

  5. Love to you and your family I am praying daily for you as a mother. I know these things are hard seeing our loved ones go through things that it is hard to handle their pain. I know you know and that God will take care of you. Lots of love to you. God even woke me up after midnight with Anna in my dreams to pray for you all. And we are all wearing Orange for you and your family.

  6. "Rejoice in the Lord alway, and again I say rejoice. Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God." "God is our refuge and strength." We can look up unto the hills and know our strength comes from the Lord. It is because of God's mercies we are not consumed. They are new every morning. Great is God's faithfulness. God does give peace. He will and does direct our paths. My prayer is for the Lord's light to illuminate the corridors of Childrens hospital. There are souls prepared to hear the message of the gospel. I love you all.
