"Health to thy naval, marrow to thy bones"

Daniel made it through the bone marrow harvest like a champ! He is at this very moment in recovery and the cells have been delivered. We are just waiting for the orders to put them in! The coolers are literally sitting outside her room in the nurses station. Her siblings are all here waiting to watch the initial hook up. Thank you all for your prayers!

  7. Psalm 63:1-4

    The Message (MSG)

A David Psalm, When He Was out in the Judean Wilderness

    63 God—you’re my God!
I can’t get enough of you!
I’ve worked up such hunger and thirst for God,
traveling across dry and weary deserts.

2-4 So here I am in the place of worship, eyes open,
drinking in your strength and glory.
In your generous love I am really living at last!
My lips brim praises like fountains.
    I bless you every time I take a breath;
My arms wave like banners of praise to you
Arms in the air praying....Miracle Maker!

  8. There are events in one's life that engross your whole being until they are past; some good, some bad, but they are so important to you that the rest of life is a blur while this event is clearly in focus.

Much is happening in our life here in Uganda, but as we read and pray for you the events here are a blur while Anna's health is sharply in focus. We thank you for every update, and we pray often for Anna, Daniel, mom and dad, and the entire Houston family. May God continue to be glorified and honored through you all.

  9. Celebrating Daniels heroic giving, as well as the other siblings willingness to provide. Also celebrating Anna's sweet Godly spirit, unfailing in all this testing by fire. For what can God be allowing this all to happen? We may never know here on earth, and it may be God will allow you to plant a seed in someone's heart...maybe another patient, maybe a nurse, maybe a Dr., or maybe a parent of a sick child....that would be closed to the message from any other source, but God is allowing this in your lives, as he knows you will go through this trial, looking toward Him, as you share thru your speech and your life 'the good news' of God's salvation. We continue to uphold you all in prayer frequently. We pray especially now for Anna's body and her cells to accept Daniel's life giving cells, without a fight, and allow healing to start and complete a total cure! 'Houston's there has been a take off into a healthy orbit!'

  12. I have prayed for Anna daily and will continue to do so. My heart goes out for her. Even though she doesn't know me, I hope she will be encouraged by the knowledge that other girls are praying for her.

  13. We continue to pray daily for Anna and for your whole family. Ellie faithfully reminds our small group on Wednesday nights that Anna needs prayer - and without fail Ellie always reminds us to pray for her prior to our evening meals. We pray for Daniel to heal, and for the rest of the family as no doubt, everyone is carrying an extra role or stress. May God allow this journey to go swiftly - and for healing to occur.

Also - I have some clothing the girls have outgrown, as well as a few boys stuff. We need to run out this evening - and I could just put a bag on your porch - or you can pick it up here at your leisure. Or, if you don't need any clothing - that is totally ok too. Just let me know. I don't have your number, otherwise I would text. My number hasn't changed (I think) - anyhow - have a blessed day - and we are thinking and praying for you all ...
